STE18-A is a single phase prepaid electricity meter with STS standard,it has integrated keypad to recharge by TOKENS and check information by short codes. Its prepayment advantage is that user must pay first and then can use electricity available,if no credits in the meter,electricity will be cut off.Stronpay vending software could be integrated to local mobile money payment platform via API, like M-PESA, Alipay, MTN, Airtel, etc.This energy meter can be both applied for residential and commercial place.It has low power consumption, high reliability, high precision and stable function, convenient to use and maintain.
Application
Counting electricity consumption over users’ period time. When the meter runs out of power, a warning is issued, and the main system can remotely control the switch and disconnect the network, so the user can no longer use the power. Only when the user recharges and enters the corresponding TOKENS, the network will be connected remotely and the user can continue to use it. In this way, the user can avoid the situation that the user defaults on the electricity bill but continues to use electricity endlessly, and help the supplier to better manage the user.
Basic functions and characteristics
●High reliability:the accuracy remains unchanged for a long time, without wheel calibration, installation and transportation influence.
●Accuracy:wide range, wide power factor, start sensitive, etc.
●TOU tariff:utilities can set step price on request.
●Prepayment:after payment,then get electricity.
●Anti-tamper:meter will automatically close the valve after detection of magnetic field and open cover event.
●Remote reading:by RF-LoRa to connect DCU for remote reading.
●Cost performance:high cost performance, can be reserved expansion function, seldom affected by the price rise of raw materials.
●Credit alarm:alarm value can be set by inputting corresponding TOKEN.When the remaining electric quantity is less than the alarm quantity, the buzzer will give alarm to remind the user to buy electricity.
●Data protection:data protection adopts all solid state integrated circuit technology, data can be kept for more than 10 years after power failure.
●Automatic power off:when the remaining quantity in the electricity meter is zero, the electricity meter will trip automatically and cut off the power supply. Users should purchase electricity in time.
●Electricity query:use keypad to input codes to display the total electricity purchase, the number of electricity purchase, the last electricity purchase, the cumulative electricity consumption, the remaining electricity.
●Overvoltage Protection:When the actual load exceeds the set value, the meter will automatically cut off

How to recharge prepaid electricity meter
●Via local sales point or handheld mobile vending unit
When users find no credits and then no electricity to use,they can go to the point of sales to buy electricity,after payment,they will get 20 digits TOKENS.And after going home,they can recharge successfully by inputting the TOKENS.
●By the third party platform or local mobile payment with API
API is application program interface, which is the agreement connecting the third party APP and our Stronpay vending software.If utility is too far for users,they can use the third party APP to recharge,via APP they can receive the TOKEN by SMS and then input TOKEN to complete the recharge.
